  • Provide care in the most economical of all healthcare settings- a patient’s own home
  • Act as a partner and supporter of the communities where we serve
  • Promote excellence in the provision of home-based services as the preferred setting for the future of health care
  • Offer individualized care designed to support the whole person and their family in the home
  • Help to prevent avoidable readmission for persons recently hospitalized
  • Help families stay together

LifeSpring In-Home Care Network offers the full spectrum of home-based care, including home health care, hospice care, case management services, palliative care, and services designed to support an individual’s independence at home.
Since 2003, LifeSpring has provided home-based services in Oklahoma, Texas, Florida, Pennsylvania and Colorado. At LifeSpring, we know you have the right to choose your home care providers. Here’s why we hope you will choose LifeSpring for your care:

SUPERIOR QUALITY
To help you find high-quality healthcare providers, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) rates home health and hospice agencies on its Care Compare website. Choosing a provider with strong quality scores helps ensure you achieve your goals, have a better quality of life, and can stay home and out of the hospital as much as possible. According to CMS’ latest reports, agencies in the LifeSpring In-Home Care Network average scores above 4.0 out of 5 stars in 95% of our locations, in both quality outcomes and patient satisfaction. This compares to the national average of 3.25 Stars.

CARE IN THE COMFORT OF YOUR HOME
Our caring team members come to your home to provide one-on-one care tailored to the individual. Home is where people usually feel safest and most comfortable. For these reasons, home health patients usually recover faster with fewer complications, and home hospice patients often have a better quality of life. Additionally, our personal services staff can help patients with limited mobility to safely perform necessary daily living activities This gives us a unique ability to collaborate with our home health and hospice staff to ensure excellence in the coordination of care.

COVERAGE FOR HOME CARE
Medicare typically pays 100% of the cost for home health and hospice for eligible patients.   Additionally, your state Medicaid  program or your private insurance may cover in-home care. For persons with long-term care insurance, additional help at home may be covered as well.
We know health insurance can be complicated, so please contact us to learn more about coverage criteria and the cost for care.

SPECIALIZED CARE PROGRAMS
At LifeSpring we know the importance of clinical expertise in providing exceptional care. Your care plan will be based on your needs, and will be provided in accordance with our specialized home care clinical programs, designed by our physician specialists in collaboration with home care expert clinical management. These programs address a wide variety of diagnoses, conditions, and care needs, including:

  • Heart Failure
  • Heart Attack (Myocardial Infarction)
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
  • Pneumonia
  • Joint Replacement
  • Hip and Leg Fractures
  • Dementia
  • Palliative Care Needs
  • Stroke
  • Medication Management
  • Care of Veterans
  • Balance and Fall Risk Management

CLINICAL EXCELLENCE
We value and promote the development of expert clinical skills among our staff. Many home care patients require specialty services including, but not limited to, intravenous medications, wound care, injections, ostomy care, and more. We provide regular in-house education for these specialized nursing skills and maintain a staff of certified wound care experts. In addition, many of our physical, occupational, and speech therapists have certifications in specialty care such as lymphedema management, neuro-cognitive training, VitalStim for swallowing disorders, and more. Other home health agencies shy away from the cutting edge treatments that LifeSpring staff are qualified for and trained to provide.

VETERANS CARE
At LifeSpring, we admire and respect Veterans, and we commit ourselves to putting that high regard into action. To that end, our staff undergo specialized training the care and needs of veterans, and we strive to accept all forms of insurance coverage held by veterans. LifeSpring Hospice holds the coveted Gold Star certification for care of Veterans.
LifeSpring supports and provides services to the Force 50 Foundation, a Veteran- focused not-for-profit organization dedicated to provide resources and services to Veterans organizations and individuals with health care needs. To learn more, please click:

To meet the ever-increasing needs of the aging population, LifeSpring In-Home Care Network was launched in 2012. While new to the franchise industry in the senior care sector, the LifeSpring franchise represents a ground floor opportunity founded on a successful business model that has been operating for nearly 15 years in Norman, Oklahoma.

After numerous years spent working in the health care industry in corporate and consulting environments, as well as hands-on clinician work in area hospitals in Oklahoma, Karen Vahlberg established Lifecare Oklahoma Personal Services in 2003, which provided non-medical home care.

That same year, Karen started Lifecare Oklahoma, Inc., providing medical home health care. Karen believes in provision of service with integrity, including clinical excellence, ethical corporate values, and superior customer service. Lifecare Oklahoma provides skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, medical social work and personal care services covered by Medicare or private insurance, as well as private pay services, usually provided in shifts by certified home health aides or companions. In 2006, Lifecare Oklahoma added hospice services, working with terminally ill patients and their families to ease symptoms, provide comfort, and prepare for transition from this life.
